A practical step is to cook a bit more from scratch and focus on clean raw ingredients. For example, many people buy a jar of tomato sauce with a long ingredient list, unfamiliar additives, added sugar, and extra salt. The homemade version can be as simple as chopped tomatoes, oregano or mixed herbs, garlic, and cold pressed olive oil. Small upgrades like that, repeated consistently, often beat switching between strict diets.
